NOVICE
A Novice exhibitor is one who has never placed on the top bench three times or more at three individual SPBE-sanctioned shows. An exhibitor may place three times on the top ten before being required to advance to the Open or Close-banded Subdivisions.
Birds that are purchased having already earned SPBE points are not eligible for entry in the Novice Subdivision.
The Novice Subdivision may include birds with clipped wings, but such birds may be penalized when they are competing against the other four subdivisions.
